Bear Country

Its been the year for bears and their cubs in Sitka, with some of the stories having happier endings than others.


Here's a picture my wife took last month of one of the bears with her two cubs that spent the summer dining on fish and berries at the Starrigavan estuary near the Sitka ferry terminal.
